The is the 3rd Generation of HPs 1040 Folio line of laptops.

The Folio lineup is HP business grade of ultra thin laptops.
Unlike many other ultrathin laptops, the folio is not short on features.

A notable feature difference of the 1040 G3 is that it has replaced the Onboard DisplayPort with an HDMI port.

This is a good idea, as the HP Ultraslim Docking Station has 2 x Dual Mode Displayport’s, for when you’re docked at the office, but an HDMI for when your out and about.

This HP Folio 1040 G3 does have a minor pressure mark on the lower right side of the screen.
it is minor, so it barely comes out in the photos.
